10 years...
We have been going for 10 years now. First Steps opened in March 1999. To celebrate past and present volunteers and staff were invited to a meal as the World Turned Upside Down. At the end of May we will be having a celebration church service and will be inviting local people and partnership organisations along to the service. Alan Magness, of Impact Reading will be speaking at the service. We hope as many people as possible will be able to attend this momentas event and join us afterwards for a spot of food.
Volunteers Meal...
Twenty pass and present volunteers shared a meal together at the World Turned Upside Down. Some of the volunteers have been with First Steps from the beginning.
Celebration Service...
On Sunday 31st May we will be holding our Celebration Service at St. Agnes Church, at 10.30am.
Alan Magness, Chair of Impact Reading will be giving the talk. After the sevice we will be sharing food together in the grounds of the church. Please come and join us thanking God for First Steps in the Community.
