Where to find us
Messy Play runs on Thursday mornings at St Agnes Church, Northumberland Avenue, from 10.00am to 12.00noon. Feel free in drop in any time, there is no waiting list, everyone is welcome.
We target the activities to pre school age children, but all ages (including mums & dads) enjoy messy play.
Why messy play?
Children learn through play, and best of all when they are active, through touching objects and through ‘doing’ - which may in turn cause a bit of a mess!
What we provide
We provides the opportunity for your children to take part in messy play and let them know it’s ok to get dirty (sometimes) - aprons are provided. Your child will be able to make as much mess as they like without you having to worry about furniture, carpets or cleaning up - leave that to us. So Dress for Mess!
Come along with your children and try out sand, cornflour, shaving foam and other messy textures. Use paints, glue and playdough to explore your artistic gifts. Drinks and a snack are provided at the end of each session.
