About us...
First Steps is a counselling service working in the Whitley area of Reading since 1999. We are a voluntary organisation operating under the direction of the Parish Church Council of St. Agnes with St. Paul and St. Barnabas Churches.
Our mission...
To demonstrate Christian love for the community in Whitley and South Reading through meeting needs for counselling and parental support. In doing so we seek to involve and empower the people living in Whitley & South Reading, helping them to help themselves.
As well as a counselling service we operate a Messy Play group where parents and children play and get messy. We take the stress out of mess - you make the mess, we tidy up.
